Cello - Bow Hold

Down Bow
You pull the bow down.

Up Bow
You push the bow up.

Arco means to use the bow

Pizzicato means to pluck the strings


Don't grip the bow too tightly, try to keep the bow straight and gently press down
on the strings keeping your wrist flexible.

Cello Bow Hold

Don't forget your resin and always remember to loosen the hair of your bow when you have finished!
